Chelsea and Lani's Great Adventure!

What a time we had!
We hopped a flight to Dallas to spend some time with Shelley and Ashley , before she leaves for the summer. She will be at camp in Pennsylvania teaching the fine art of horsemanship to 7-10 year olds . What a great teacher for those kids and such a wonderful experience for Ashley . We're very proud of her.
It was the first time Chelsea had flown since she was a tiny 'lil girl. She did great with the flight , but the landing made her feel a little sick , I showed her where the small white bag was , thankfully she didn't have to use it!
Ashley picked us up at Love Field.We drove down town where Shelley works and had lunch at a quaint little cafe"The Bread Basket"YUM!!
It was so much fun to watch the girls together and once again hear the giggles of childhood.
Shelley lives in great village setting , where you can walk to the restaurants and shops , which we did often :) Ashley and Chelsea walked to Coldstone every night for ice cream.
Dallas is a shoppers mecca............Chelsea was in her element!
There are so many unique shops and eateries.It sounds like all we did was shop and eat..........well yup!! Shop...eat...visit...shop...eat...visit , not always in that order , sometimes it was shop...shop...shop...shop...visit...eat :)
Dallas has such a variety of restaurants , it's Bill's favorite place for crabcakes , go figure , we live on the coast and he likes the crabcakes in Dallas.
The "Run for Life"marathon was going on while we were there. We watched from Shelley's balcony , I know , I know , that sounds pretty lame , but I am doing one in August.
Almost missed our plane coming home , but didn't . Bill was waiting for us and we had a great trip (Chelsea didn't need the little white bag ).
